~2010~
1. Moving Out & Moving Back: The new year started and I hit the ground running! I moved out of my parent's home and into a 2 bedroom apartment with a friend. I was working full time as a long-term substitute, and decided it was time to start my "big girl" life. That lasted about 3 months and living on my own just wasn't working out. Luckily, my parents love me ;) and took me back with open arms. And I have never had a stronger appreciation for living at home.
2. Baseball: My favorite sport EVER!! My boyfriend and I went to Arizona for the weekend to watch a couple spring training games. Watched the baseball games {not to mention the players' cute butts ;)}, soaked up the sun and drank way to many margaritas! The joy of baseball season! And even though I cheered on the Angels AND the Dodgers {got me in a little trouble!} I'm still an Angel girl at heart!
3. My 26th Birthday!: My family and I went to Coronado Island and then my friends and I went out to Sushi. I also chopped my hair off!

1 Year Anniversary: Tom and I celebrated our 1 year together at 5 Crowns in Corona del Mar.
5. Getting a Real Job!: I interviewed on my birthday {good sign!} and got the call with the job offer 5 days later. I got my own classroom!!!! Teaching the best grade ever!
6. Wheel of Fortune Auditions!: This may have been my most favorite memory of 2010. My sister, Nate and I drove out to Morongo Casino and stood in the never-ending line only to be a part of 1000 people let into the audition. They pulled about 25 names but we had no luck. As we were leaving the casino, the next phase of auditions were starting to line up. It was almost 8 pm and we all had work the next day, but something told us to get back in line. And it was a good thing we did! My name was the 3rd one called and I got to go up to the stage and try out! I country line danced...with my sister...and and solved the puzzle! Then I waited, and waited, and waited. 10 long weeks later, both my sister and I got an email to come audition in Culver City!!!! Best email ever! So off we went, in matching dresses and had the time of our lives! Still waiting to hear if we get on the show {it's been 4 months, do we still have a chance!?}
7. Weddings: My brother got married in August. I now have another awesome sister and the cutest nephew in the whole world!
Tom's sister got married in September. It was such a beautiful wedding :)

Talent Show!: Okay, this may be tied with my most favorite memory of 2010. The staff dance at the talent show was sooo much fun! I felt like Britney Spears dancing up there with everyone cheering us on! We are now a
youtube sensation! Okay, maybe not, but still!
9. Blogging: My current obsession. Reading others' blogs about fashion and teaching and sharing about my life is so fun!
10. Last Night!: Going out to the dueling piano bar; dancing to Single Ladies; getting a free shot for dancing!; doing the Irish Jig; getting a free shot for doing the Irish Jig; hanging out with friends and laughing; the greatest night ever!
What a great year it was! Here's to good times in 2011!
