My Daily Schedule

I'm linking up with Kathleen over at
to share my daily schedule!

I post my daily schedule in the same spot everyday. My students are pretty funny, they all make a bee-line toward it first thing when they walk into my classroom! But it really helps my kiddos who need consistency and routine and calms a lot of behaviors! I even have one little girl who volunteers to change the schedule for me if I forget {they are just so sweet ;)} Here's the best picture that I could find of my daily schedule!
See it over there in the corner?? ;)

I've also heard of some classes that remove the activity card after the activity is completed so the teacher kids can see how much progress they've made throughout the day! I think that is such a cool idea!

Here is a copy of my daily plans. My district still has half-day kindergarten! How in the world do they expect us to teach everything the students are expected to learn in less than 3 hours?! Luckily, I have very smart kids! And I'm only a little biased!

And the fabulous Ms. M at A Teacher's Plan created this amazing lesson plan template for me! Upgrade, wouldn't you say?

  1. I can't believe districts that still do half-day Kindergarten! The district where I went to school still does it, and I subbed a few days in the Kindergarten class. The AM class runs from 9-11:40!! And sometimes they have specials - how do you teach anything in that time?? Holy moly.

    Magnificent Multiagers!

  3. Thanks for sharing! I really like how on your plans you have a slot for 'before school'. That is a GREAT idea and I'm definitely going to include that in my plan book next year for duty/conferences/etc. Thanks! :)

  4. Thank you so much for posting a schedule for half day Kindergarten! This was my first year teaching half day after teaching full day, and needless to say, my schedule could use some tweeking for next year! Thanks again for some inspiration! :)

  6. This last year we went from half days to full days every other day and various Fridays. I would much rather go back to half days every day. The kiddos don't retain as much when they only go to school every other day and have 1-5 days off between days of school. It would be great to see how others who teach half time kinders fit everything in. Keep up the great work.
