Super Sunday!

I'm certainly loving all these great posts I found in the land of Blog! I just had to share with you all!

How cute are these noun cards that Kristin made! They look so professional!

These cupcake facts that Alisha made are soo adorable! I am partial to Halloween and cupcakes though!

I almost fell out of my chair when I saw this one!! Marlana found this Scotch Thermal Laminator for $17.99 on Amazon, today only! Of course I jumped on this one!
And then I see that Ashleigh is giving away a $25 giftcard to Amazon, just because! Score!

Pam is sharing the most adorable activity for Fall! Seriously, I never thought I'd be so happy that Summer is over!

And finally, Ms. M shared about this Blog Hop she will be participating in and it seriously almost brought me to tears. How great it is that a blogging community can reach out and help so many others!

Number Recognition Practice

Here's a fun Halloween center that I created for my Kinder kiddos to practice number recognition, ordering numbers and writing numbers 1-20.
The students will sort these pumpkins in number order
They can use this number chart for guidance
After they've sorted the pumpkins, they will practice writing their numbers
Traceable numbers font can be found {here}

I found another traceable font that has more "kid-friendly" numbers to trace. Download the document again to get the new page!
Traceable number font found {here}!

I love the way Katie at Little Warriors differentiated her centers so that all of her students were successful, but also challenged, so I created another follow up sheet where the students only trace the first and last number

BTW, I had several students call 15 "five-teen" today. I think they're on to something!

I Love Blogging!

I am SO inspired by so many of your teaching blogs, and I am so honored to be able to inspire all of you!
Top 10 TBA

Thank you to these wonderful bloggers who have awarded me as one of their Top 10 blogs!

First Grade Blue Skies
Class Full of Special Kinders

You guys are the best!! I definitely would award you back if I was allowed to!

Here are some great blogs that are always inspiring me :)
A Teeny Tiny Teacher
Kristin at A Teeny Tiny Teacher- I know she's already be awarded several times {and rightly so!}, but she is one of my most favorite blogs to read! She is sooo funny and tells it like it is! I love reading her blog and getting fabulous ideas from her! Thanks Kristin!

Creating & Teaching

Erin at Creating & Teaching- Not only is Erin and her blog super cute, she has the greatest ideas! I love the homemade alphabet letters that she created for her classroom; you can just tell how much she cares about her students. She makes me kinda, sorta, maybe a little bit want to teach pre-school! I said maybe!

Mrs. Wyand at Keeping it True in K-1-2- She shares a love of all things zebra print and Target! She's fairly new to teacher blogging and already has LOADS of great ideas to share! {Now we just need to get her a blog button!}

Fran at Kindergarten Crayons- I know, I know, it's no surprise how awesome her blog is! I hope I teach Kindergarten forever just so that I can use her ideas and resources! She is FABULOUS to say the least! Thanks Fran!

I {heart} Megan at Kindergarten Teacher Tales! She is starting her first year teaching Kindergarten but you would never know that by looking at her blog. She has such a cute classroom and a keen eye for the Target dollar spot! She might be more obsessed than I am ;)

Sydney at Lessons Learned is amazing! We are both going through some trials and tribulations, and it's nice to know that we have each other! Sydney is such an amazing writer, I could read her blog for hours! Plus, she's super creative and I have pinned thousands of her things!

Katie from Miss Klohn's Classroom- Such a sweet teacher, one of the first teaching blogs I followed. It was so fun to follow her go from student teaching to her own classroom! She is always willing to share her life with us and I just love that! Thanks Katie!

Ms. M! Needs no introduction! She is my BBFF, my partner in crime, my sanity at times. I swear sometimes I feel like I know her in real life! She's an amazing teacher and shares such wonderful ideas.

Emily at Playground Duty- Super sweet!! I love reading her blog and all the great things she shares! Plus, I love the little owl at the bottom of all of her posts ;)

Sneaker Teacher! Also another teaching blog that suckerd me into the teaching blog world! And the inspiration behind my beach theme classroom! She is so cute and creative!

Tamara at Teaching with TLC- one of the SWEETEST bloggers you will ever meet. I'm pretty sure she spends 50% of her day working on TBA and the other 50% consoling me with all my crazy emails! Plus, she says things like "Maybe she should be a baker, not a teacher! Don't worry about Martha!" HAHA! love you Tamara!

Yeah, yeah, I shared 11, but sorry, I couldn't narrow it down any further!

Theme Parties!

My BFF Ashley teaches middle school science {bless her heart! lol} but really, she should be a professional party planner! Check out all of her adorable party themes on her blog! She most recently threw her boyfriend a Navy themed party for being accepted into the Navy. And I helped too! These are the signs I made for her!

Polka Dot Labels

Need some cute polka dot labels to organize supplies in your classroom?

Check out my TpT and TeachersNotebook to download your free copy!

It is a word document so you can type up the names on your labels before printing them out. Or you can print, laminate, and label with permanent marker. My favorite thing to do!

Please remember that I spent time making these labels. Feel free to use them for your own classroom, but do not reproduce and offer them as your own. Thanks!

Look What I Got!

They came! They came! I'm so excited! The vinyl letters and polka dots that I won from Precious Perks and The Polka Dot Patch are here!!!

Didn't they turn out cute?!

I got the silver pails at a garage sale for 25 cents each! Even better than the dollar they were selling for at Target! When I found them, I knew I wanted to use them for my "sharp" and "dull" pencils. So I was EXTRA excited when I found out that I won an item from Ashley's shop!

I was able to choose the colors and the font and Ashley gives such easy, and clear directions on how to adhere the vinyl. It took me like 2 minutes, and it looks amazing! {I made the little pink circles with my hole-punch because I LOVE how Ashley uses different sized polka dots in her classroom}.

P.S. I am currently obsessed with owls and if I didn't already waste all of my printer ink printing out my beach theme classroom decor, I definitely would change my theme to owls!! haha...

Another Tough Day...

"I might not be someone's first choice, but I am a great choice. I don't pretend to be someone I'm not, because I'm good at being me. I might not be proud of some of the things I've done in the past, but I'm proud of who I am today!!:) I may not be perfect... but I don't need to be! Take me as I am, or watch me as I walk away..."
