Trees

One of the Kindergarten classes I am working with made the cutest little drawings of trees through the seasons.

Aren't they adorable!? I still can't believe that a 5 year old made this!

The teacher went through each season step by step, talking about what the grass looks like during the season, as well as the tree leaves.

I made a template that you can download {here} if you'd like to use this with your class.

  1. Great idea! I love the template. Too late for this year, but I'll definitely use it next year. Thanks for the great share!

  3. I cannot thank you enough for this FREEBIE printable! I wanted to do a lesson on seasons (particularly autumn), but was completely unmotivated because I did not have anything "fun" in store. Thanks for this art integrated activity!

  4. We do that same thing! We study seasons later in the year, which I like because we've had more time to go through them together and frontload some information.

  5. I love this! I did a seasons unit with my kiddos and we did a tree page. I like your activity to do before mine! You can see mine on my blog!

  6. Thanks for sharing---I love the idea of giving them a trunk to start with! We have to do waaaaaaaaaaaay too much with trees all year long, so this is a good one! :)

  8. I love the seasons! If my kiddos colored this activity, it would look the same all year long in SWFL. I have to keep reminding them that there are seasons and FL is not the average climate.

Just like there are seasons in life. Hey, Beth is talking about seasons in life as I am listening to her right NOW while typing this comment. (Intro. video #5) That was weird. Okay, go take a listen. ☺ Love ya girl!!!
