Super Sunday!

Number Recognition Practice

 Here's a fun Halloween center that I created for my Kinder kiddos to practice number recognition, ordering numbers and writing numbers 1-20.

The students will sort these pumpkins in number order

They can use this number chart for guidance

After they've sorted the pumpkins, they will practice writing their numbers

I love the way Katie at Little Warriors differentiated her centers so that all of her students were successful, but also challenged, so I created another follow up sheet where the students only trace the first and last number

Theme Parties!

 My BFF Ashley teaches middle school science {bless her heart! lol} but really, she should be a professional party planner! Check out all of her adorable party themes on her blog! Polka Dot Labels

 Need some cute polka dot labels to organize supplies in your classroom? 

Check out my TpT and TeachersNotebook to download your free copy!

It is a word document so you can type up the names on your labels before printing them out. Or you can print, laminate, and label with permanent marker. My favorite thing to do!

Please remember that I spent time making these labels. Feel free to use them for your own classroom, but do not reproduce and offer them as your own. Thanks!

Look What I Got!

 They came! They came! I'm so excited! The vinyl letters and polka dots that I won from Precious Perks and The Polka Dot Patch are here!!!

Didn't they turn out cute?!

I got the silver pails at a garage sale for 25 cents each! Even better than the dollar they were selling for at Target! When I found them, I knew I wanted to use them for my "sharp" and "dull" pencils. So I was EXTRA excited when I found out that I won an item from Ashley's shop!

I was able to choose the colors and the font and Ashley gives such easy, and clear directions on how to adhere the vinyl. It took me like 2 minutes, and it looks amazing! {I made the little pink circles with my hole-punch because I LOVE how Ashley uses different sized polka dots in her classroom}.

P.S. I am currently obsessed with owls and if I didn't already waste all of my printer ink printing out my beach theme classroom decor, I definitely would change my theme to owls!! haha...

Teaching Blog Expo!

Teaching Blog Expo will begin with our first conference taking place on Saturday, Sept. 17th and it's surrounding the hottest topic that swept up us all - blogging! Teacher blogging!

Blogging 101 is our teaching conference that will bring 7 of our fantastic TBA authors online for teaching, inspiration and fun. There will be virtual goodie bags valued at hundreds of dollars, live Q & A time, giveaways, as well as the opportunity to view these sessions at any time after the conference since they will be recorded. What fun! 

Tickets are available at a discounted price if purchased before Sept. 3rd.
