February Math and Literacy Centers

My OLW {one little word} for this year is "present". I have been practicing living in the present, thinking in the present, doing in the present. It's been AWESOME and I feel like my quality of life has increased 10-fold! My days feel longer and more fulfilling. I am enjoying everything as I am experiencing it!

That being said, I am a crazy planner. I get anxious if I'm not prepared! So although I have been working on creating February centers so that I am prepared for February, I am not letting February stress me out, just yet ;) And I figure many of you are planners too, so if you're looking to get prepared for {and not stressed out about!} February, I thought I'd share what I have for February centers so far :)

Here's what included!

Math Centers:
Greater or Less Than Goodies- practicing more or less

 Racing Hearts- one to one correspondence and addition
{SO excited to have found the heart dice in the Target dollar section!!!}

 Sweet Treats Train- one to one correspondence and addition

"Bee"fore and After- ordering numbers

Honeycomb Counting- counting on

Match Makers- making 10

Sweet Subtraction- subtraction from 15 {or less if you choose!}

Literacy Centers:
Love Notes- unscrambling sight words stored in mini envelopes

 Make n' Bake- sorting real words and nonsense words using CVC cookies

Broken Hearts- matching pictures to their ending sounds

Love Letters- classifying letters

Colorful Cupcakes- sight words and sentence structure

Happy Hearts- another sight words and sentence structure pocket chart center

I think they are going to *love* these!
I found all the little containers and manipulatives in the Target dollar section!
You can purchase the centers in my TpT store!

  17. I've been itching to get to Target ever since I read this post, but with a sick boy at home, I haven't been able to. Cross your fingers for me that when I do head out and I can get some of your cute finds...love your centers. Do you know how talented you are?
