Five for Friday! - Miss Kindergarten

Five for Friday!

It makes me THO THAD {(c) Teeny ;)} that I can't blog as much as I want to!! But my Facebook page and Instagram seem to be filling the void, so I think I'll survive!

I'm linking up with Doodle Bugs to share some pictures that I have been on FB and Insta lately!

I just *love* cutting out lamination! Anyone else?? I've been busy laminating and cutting out super fun activities for literacy centers next week. I am hoping to have a post all about literacy centers up soon so be on the look out!

I LOVE all the cute Halloween crafts adorning our classroom right now :) My partner teacher made these super adorable trick or treater ghosts with our class. {I think they are from TLC lessons}

We also made this 5 little pumpkins craft to review our numbers 1-5 and ordinal numbers!
Needless to say, there's been a lot of this going on lately ;)

We've been working on the letter "s" this week, so of course, we had to sing along with Heidi Songs!

We used Heidi's Singable Songs for Letters and Sounds DVD and my students literally can not get enough! They are so attentive and they're all engaged! I don't think it has anything to do with the huge screen they're watching ;) We practice for about 5 minutes and a chorus of "again!! again!!" can be heard down the hall! And we're pretty much on a first name basis with Heidi now ;)

Speaking of Heidi, my BFF Kristin and I were fortunate enough to see her present earlier this month. She is absolutely amazing and so inspiring! She really wants to make me be a better teacher! Want to know the best news?? I was lucky enough to be asked to present at the same conference that Heidi presents at! What!?! My other BFF Michelle and I are presenting on classroom management. I'm already starting to freak out just a little bit! We also have a little *something something* up our sleeves... which leads me to number 5!

A So Cal Blogger Bash!!! How cool is this!! All your favorite bloggers in one place!? I know!!
You can find more information about the conference and the bash {here}
If you live in Southern California, I would love for you to come out so we can meet you!!
{ignore that it says 2013, that was a misprint! It will be in Feb. 2014}

  1. Hi! I love your blog! I am your newest follower. However, I do keep up with all your products on TpT so I'm glad I headed over to your blog today. What great ideas. I so wish I lived close to California to go to the Bloggers Bash. My blog is about a day in the life of an elementary principal. I share all of my teachers great successes and classrooms. I often spotlight other bloggers and teachers like yourself. I hope you don't mind if I share your blog with them and your story. If interested, head over to my blog. Thanks
