Leprechaun Craft

I'm so excited for March, it's one of my favorite months {minus the whole lack of days off! Our Spring Break isn't until April!} I love March because of all the fun crafts we get to make :)

Next week we're going to talk all about weather...yes we sometimes do get a rainy day or too out here in California ;) We're going to make our Lion & Lamb crafts and work on some of these great activities from Mrs. Cupcake's Whimsical Weather unit!

We're also going to make this fun little leprechaun and write about what we would do if we were leprechauns!

And also complete this fun "how to" for catching leprechauns :)

Do You Have a Hall Pass?

I love, love, love linky parties, almost as much as I love to talk about myself, so I get super excited when I find a new linky to join! One of my most favorite bloggers, Reagan is hosting a super fun Hall Pass part-ay!

Ummm...this is like choosing my favorite child!? How am I supposed to narrow this down!? I love all my products...for a certain amount of time and then the holiday rolls around again and I pull the unit out and I think EW how did I ever think this was cute!? Anyone else?? But I guess, since I have to choose, I'll go with my A-Z crafts because that's like 26 products in one and I am cheating a little ;)

A {favorite area}

My all time favorite area is my craft corner in my apartment! I put it together over a year ago and I'm still in love with it! Thank goodness because I sure do spend a lot of time in this little corner {notice the wine ;)} I also really love my Scotch personal laminator! And that frame actually has a picture in it now ;)

S {favorite signal}

I think my all time favorite signal is my bell because I can hit it really hard when I'm frustrated and nobody notices ;) Plus, the students get really quiet and throw their hands up in the air! But I also love responsive signals. Some of my favorites are...

"Grilled Cheese!" "Everybody Freeze!"

"Criss Cross!" "Applesauce!"

"1,2" "eyes on you!"

I also just learned the most awesomest idea from my BFF Teeny...it's genius! You really should go check it out!

S {how I stay sane}

Well...let's see...I have a lot of shows on my DVR list! I don't think I could make it through the week without some 90210, The Bachelor, How I Meet Your Mother, Dance Moms, and American Idol to name a few!

I also have my blogging besties to keep me sane :D

In Like a Lion...Out Like a Lamb

Will March come in like a lion, or like a lamb?! Teach your students all about wild weather and have them complete this adorable craft! The lion and lamb can be glued back-to-back and hung from the ceiling or be made into a cute bulletin board!

This is a great book to read before starting this craftivity!

Have your students discuss the difference between lion weather and lamb weather...

and then write whether they think they are more like lion weather or lamb weather!

 You can also complete a class graph!

I'm hoping for lamb weather!! What about you??

Fun Fonts!

Yesterday I spent some time making fonts on my iFont maker...it was so much fun! I have a thing for fonts and it made watching the Super Bowl more bearable ;)

I wanted to share my fonts with you in case you can use them! They are free! And you can use them for commercial products if you'd like! They don't have all the symbols, and some only have lower case letters, but my fingers were getting tired! I did include an uppercase I in all the fonts because that is important to me!
