Happy New Year! {blog hop} - Miss Kindergarten

Happy New Year! {blog hop}

 New Year's Resolutions are so tough to keep! I think because they're usually not realistic, and with no one or thing to hold you accountable, it's really easy to just let them slip through the cracks! So my
 Freebielicious friends and I thought it would be fun if we were all in this together. We are all sharing one of our resolutions and a fun little freebie to help us along the way. If you see anything that works for you, please grab it! We're all in this together!!

My biggest goal for 2014 is to have more confidence in myself. I know, I know, I have this blog and put myself out there for all the world to see all the time, but I still lack confidence in myself. Constantly second guessing and putting myself down. NOT a quality I want to keep! So my 2014 resolution is to believe in myself and think positive thoughts, only! Anytime a negative thought decides to creep into my little mind, I'm kicking it out and replacing it!!

To help me remember to believe, I made a little sign for my desktop background. This way, every time I log onto my computer {which is often, thankyouverymuch} I will remember to believe in myself. And if I believe it, it will come true :)

 {I also need to clean my desktop! jeeze!}
{A few of you have asked about my little post it in the corner. It's a feature on Windows called Sticky Notes. I'm not sure if there is one on Mac but I've heard there is something similar!}

If you need some believing in your life, you can use the images I made! Just right click on the image you want and click "save as", or you can click "set as desktop background".

  1. Oh my sweet friend. I have this printing out on my computer as I type. It will go on my mirror so that I can read it every morning before going out to conquer the day. Thanks for sharing. You make me 'believe' I can . . .

  5. I am the same exact way! I love your idea to put this on your computer desktop. Or even print and frame it and put it by the alarm clock. Somewhere you HAVE to see it on a daily basis!

  6. cool desktop...saved and done your poster...but where did you get the little box to the right where you can list what you've got to do when you're on the computer? I write it on a sticky and inevitably it becomes a drawing paper for the 5 yr old...

  7. I'm posting this as my new background I love it so much!!!

  9. You're right! I like this post a lot. Oh, friend, I think there is a reason we bonded over the blogosphere way back when. At my midyear conference before winter break, my AP was telling me what a great job I was doing and that she has told other administrators to go in my room -- then she said "she'll probably freak out when you do go in there" <-- it's just that small lack of confidence. But yes, I too am determined to walk around with my head held a tad higher. We can help each other.

    Okay, now if only my desktop were that clean. How do I do that? AND HOW do I do the little to do list on the side?? Inquiring minds want to know!

  10. Oh my goodness! I just added sticky notes to my desktop and while I was at it I added a calendar and a weather report, too! Thank you so much for these hints- I should have already known about them! HA! I also saved your Believe quote! Off to hop some more!
