Miss Kindergarten LOVES TpT!

When I started my journey on Teachers pay Teachers almost three years ago, I never imagined how greatly it would affect my life. TpT has led me to become the best teacher I can be not only because it has encouraged me to develop hands-on and engaging materials to use with my students, but it also has allowed me access to some of the BEST teaching materials out there. I have made meaningful friendships with teachers both near and far thanks to TpT. It has also allowed me to teach part-time and focus on starting a business that I never even knew was possible! To say that TpT has blessed me is an understatement!

One of my all-time favorite rewards that comes with sharing my creations on TpT has been seeing how my units have impacted students all around the world. At the beginning of the school year, my good friend Kristen shared this picture with me of a class she had worked with in the Dominican Republic. They were able to celebrate their first day of kindergarten and use my little first day of school craft.
melt my heart

Over winter break, one of my Facebook fans sent me pictures of his 1st grade class in Seoul, Korea, learning about Frosty the Snowman using one of my winter units!
I often receive feedback from teachers who have made my solider boy craft, exclaiming how much they enjoyed the craft and having their students write letters to soldiers. Some of them even send the crafts and letters overseas so our military can enjoy them. So you can imagine my surprise over the past weekend, while watching the half-time show during the Super Bowl, I see this flash on the TV screen:
My little solider boy and girl made an appearance on national TV!!! And I didn't even have to pay 3 million dollars for the spot ;) Wowie, wow, wow!!!

I am so honored and blessed to be part of such an AWESOME community! And in the spirit of love and Valentine's Day, my Freebielicious friends and I want to share our love with you! That's why we are giving away gift certificates to our favorite online marketplace, Teachers pay Teachers!!

You can enter for a chance to win a $10 TpT gift certificate right here on my blog, then hop on over to my blogging buds and enter to win a gift certificate from them, and finally, make sure to stop by Freebielicious for a chance to win even MORE money! Can you feel the love!?

Now hop on over to Lyndsey's blog and learn why she loves TpT!

  6. How awesome! Last school year our 1st grade class made your soldiers for a bulletin board then sent them to a faculty member's son in Afghanistan to distribute to his buddies.

  8. Hi Hadar! Wow, congratulations on your new-found fame that has been building for a few years! I am a second grade teacher and I CANNOT HELP being in love with all the ideas that come from you and other K and 1st teachers on TpT! You all make me want to teach K again! I bought your Mother's Day purse craft two years ago (almost) and the teachers around me rave about it! I am such a sucker for VERY CUTE crafts that can be tied to the curriculum that we teach. I tend to use my Kindergarten personality to teach my 2nd graders songs and chants that match our curriculum. That seems to be my niche, so I finally started posting things to TpT. I am encouraged by my sales, but more encouraged to hear your long-term story of building up your store and things happening for you. That is so AWESOME!! Keep up the good work and know that you are an inspiration to so many teachers!
