#ScotchEXP {craft stick name tag holders}

With Valentine's Day quickly approaching, I thought I would share this cute idea I saw on Pinterest a little while back that would make the cutest name tag holders for your Valentine's Day party! Of course, I spruced it up with some Scotch Expressions Tape, because adding decorative tape to your crafts is always fun!

First, gather your supplies!
You will need 4 jumbo craft sticks per holder, a hot glue gun, and some cute expressions tape.
I used Dots, Turquoise and Red tapes to create colorful name tag holders.

I started by covering 2 craft sticks with the Dots. The tape fits almost perfectly, it just needed a little bit of trimming!

Then I covered one stick with red to use as the base, and one stick with turquoise to use as the holder.

Now comes the hard part... {or it may just be that I was trying to take pictures while using a hot glue gun and I may or may not have burnt my finger, just sayin' ;)}

Lay two craft sticks down like an uppercase A and hot glue the top pieces together.

Once dry {like 20 seconds}, stand the craft pieces up and very carefully apply hot glue to the back of the point. Place the craft stick behind so that they stand like an easel and hold the sticks together until dry.

Now you need to add the little "shelf" for the name tags to sit on. To do this, I put a little drop of hot glue on the front of the craft sticks and laid another one across them horizontally.

I printed out some cute name tags and sat them on the name tag holders.

Now we're all ready for our party!

{p.s. these are very fragile and will break easily! To avoid tears, warn your students that they WILL break if they touch them!}

This post is brought to you by Scotch®. All opinions are mine.
