I Love My Jo Totes!

One of my goals for 2014 was to teach myself how to use a digital single lens reflex (DSLR) camera. I've always been intrigued by photography and I love seeing other bloggers who take such awesome pictures! My good friend Maria suggested the Canon Rebel T3i and I absolutely love it! It's the perfect size and so much fun. My favorite part about the camera is the shutter noise it makes when I take pictures. I feel so professional ;)

I also knew that I wanted a fun camera bag to carry it in, so of course, I asked Maria for another suggestion. She raved about Jo Totes and I totally understand why! Jo Totes has a HUGE selection of amazing camera bags. It was so hard to choose just one! I spent a good 2 or 3 days mulling over the bags until I was finally able to force myself to make a decision.  I love to accessorize, but I'm a pretty neutral gal by nature, so my first thought was this elegant Gracie Butterscotch bag. However, I decided to step out of my comfort zone and went with the Gracie Magenta instead.

About a week later, my new camera bag arrived!

I opened the box and absolutely fell in love!

The magenta is just so pretty in real life and I was very happy with my choice. It did take me a couple of minutes to figure out how to insert the removable pads. They velcro is really strong and the pads literally don't move after they're inserted. I arranged them into 3 compartments since I have 2 lenses for my camera.

I also love the pockets on the front of the bag! The two little pockets are perfect for my keys and iPhone, and my wallet fits nicely in the larger zippered pocket. This is really convenient for when I take my camera to school and I don't want to be my usual bag lady self.

My favorite part about my Jo Totes is that it fits my laptop perfectly!! When I traveled to Texas in January, I used my camera bag as a carry on.

The straps are adjustable to be used as a shoulder strap or a cross body strap. The clasps are also super strong which is really important when I was carrying my laptop and camera! No one wants a disaster in the airport!

I love my bag and I couldn't be happier! Thank you so much Jo Totes!

  1. Can you tell me about your camera? I have been wanting a new one as well....especially to use at baseball tourneys for my 3 boys. Do you think this is a good one for sports and action shots? Thanks in advance for your help...love the bag too.

    1. Kim, I think you would just need to look into a good lens that would work well with motion/action shots. I'm not entirely sure though!

  3. LOVING your bag! I am still using the lame one that my camera came with. Canon created something functional, but so blah! I can't decide which bag to go with though! I like them all :)
