Silly McGilly {giveaway!}

When the 3 sisters from New Jersey emailed me to tell me all about Silly McGilly, I couldn't help but smile! Seriously, the cutest thing I've ever seen!!

Meet Silly McGilly, the newest way to bring fun, excitement and learning to your classroom during the month of March!
Isn't he adorable?!

Silly McGilly is a friendly leprechaun who loves visiting classrooms to play fun little tricks on children throughout the St. Patrick's Day season.

Here’s how Silly McGilly’s magic works:  read his story, then place his doll in the window on the night your classroom is ready for a trick to be played.   This is the invitation for the “real” Silly McGilly to come and visit you.

The three sisters share that students will enjoy the magic of Silly McGilly's "tricks" as they are involved in various enrichment activities to accommodate all learning styles.   Sample tricks Silly McGilly could play are to: switch common object labels in the classroom, mislabel shapes, leave shamrock cut-outs for learning games, replace the map of the U.S. with one of Ireland, etc.. Silly McGilly’s sample activities and tricks will enhance learning in any primary classroom  and provide differentiated instruction.

My first thought was that Silly McGilly would be a wonderful classroom management tool! Can you imagine how excited the students would be if he got to sit at the desks of children who were great listeners!? I am excited to introduce Silly McGilly in my classroom.

If you think he is as adorable as I do, you can purchase your own Silly McGilly and his book on Silly McGilly's website, or you can enter to win your own Silly McGilly and a copy of the book by using the rafflecopter below!
