Try it Free Tuesday {it's baaaack!!}

Last summer, I started my Try it Free Tuesday and it was a huge hit! I've had a few people ask if it would be back this summer and I'm excited to announce that it's back! Join me every Tuesday in July and August and try out a FREE sample of some of your favorite bloggers' creations! What's more fun than free? ;)

Anyway, thanks for stopping by for the first day of Try it Free Tuesday 2014!
Each Tuesday, I will be featuring a product or two that you are able to try out for FREE!
The products will be available for free for one day only! Of course, you will be able to purchase them on TpT after that.

I'm so very excited to share all of these awesome products with you!

Today I am going to share a fun game from my Super CVC Practice!

CVC words are the foundation of becoming a great reader and writer! In kindergarten, we work really hard on reading, writing and building CVC {consonant, vowel, consonant} words. I love using games and interactive, hands-on activities to teach my students CVC words. They just pick it up so much quicker!

POP! {a small group game}
This is a really fun way for your students to practice building CVC words. You can have them play with 2 or 4 players. They could also play on teams! I'm kinda, sorta, a little obsessed with this game! Here's how it works:
Each kid picks a gumball out of the bag and places it on his/her mat. If they can't use the letter, they put it back in the bag. If they pick a POP! card, they can take any letter for another player! The first player to build all the CVC words on his/her mat wins!
My students absolutely love this game and it really forces them to think about where each sound belongs in each CVC word.
You can download this product for free on July 1st ONLY! Be sure to tell your friends before time runs out!
Come back next week to download some great products from some of my favorite bloggers!
