See & Stamp {August/September}

I'm so excited to share with you my new See & Stamp centers! I wanted to make something fun for my kiddos to use at the stamping center as well as something easy for them to use at the beginning of the year!
I cut apart the center cards and plan on sticking them in one of the many little plastic tubs I own. #hoarder
I'll have my students pick a card from the tub and then stamp their page with the corresponding stamp.
The bus center includes lowercase letters.
Pick a card...
 Find the stamp...
 And stamp your page!

The apple cards have uppercase letters. They will practice stamping the uppercase letters, but I also included a page for them to find and stamp the matching lowercase letter.

They can also practice stamping the sight words. I don't expect my students to know and/or read this words at the beginning of the year, but it's still good letter practice. And some of my readers will actually be able to read them so that's a win :)

The backpacks have pictures with almost all of the alphabet sounds. They will choose a card and stamp the beginning sound on their page.

For math, we will practice number recognition. Just choose a card and find the number stamp that matches!

I also made cards for them to practice counting and subitizing to 6.

As well as counting dots in a tens frame.

And finally, one to one counting with apple seeds!

I found the stamps at Michaels and the set came with uppercase letters, lowercase letters and numbers! I used a 40% off coupon so it was a pretty sweet deal! You can see how I store my stamps {here}.

I also have had lots of questions about where I print my centers so I wanted to share.

I just got a new HP printer (HP Office Jet 4630). It's been wonderful so far! I also signed up for HP Instant Ink. I pay $9.99 a month to be able to print 300 pages, doesn't matter how much ink I use! When HP sees that I'm running low on ink, they send me a new black/white or color cartridge (before I even run out!!) The pages also roll over, so if I have a low printing month, I know I'll be okay the next month and nothing gets wasted! I seriously LOVE this program so I had to share with all of you!

My good friend Lauren from A Teachable Teacher has this AWESOME blog post that explains Instant Ink in detail! Check it out by clicking the image won't regret it!

  1. Perfect for the beginning of the year! I like how the worksheets are so clean (uncluttered) for little eyes!

  2. Did you purchase one set of stamps and students at the same center will share the set?

    1. I have two sets, but usually I just put out one set and they share!

  3. Awesome center and thanks for the printing idea. I hate running low on ink!
